A city going through a process of transformation a city established by boundaries, between the old and the new, between the countryside and the sea. We decided to approach the city in B&W and capture the actor’s skin tone with a natural and healthy look. On the other hand, we looked for strong contrast, with dense blacks and vibrant whites without them causing an excessive loss of detail or the “plastic” tone usual in video systems. In general we used wide angle lenses and relatively low diaphragms when shooting outdoors (for HD).
