Synopsis: Three strangers travel on the
same train coach. The usual curiosity amongst strangers
arises.
Photography: The aim was to mimic images from the 50s
and 60s, using soft contrasts and studio lighting. We
worked by overexposing the emulsion and underdeveloping
a point in the lab. For the sequences in the train we
reverse-projected and filtered the lights with Calcolour
filters. For the sequences in the park we used a Fuji
emulsion to achieve more saturated colours.
